In this opportunity you will be the center of operations for the ETO business for North America in an area with 4 +1 plants. This role is highly strategic and is expected to grow by 3x-4x.

Position Summary

• In this role you will work in the Engineered-to-Order (ETO) plants in El Paso, TX with the mission to help the North American Global Supply Chain team make the most informed decisions possible for the benefit of SE.
• You will aid the business decision making process through supporting Plant and Cluster leaders understanding of the plant performance and providing insightful analysis to drive actions, all while balancing the need to digitize and simplify our current processes.
• You will support the newest plant on the El Paso Campus - a greenfield investment currently under-construction and will offer a unique range of challenges and opportunities for high-level exposure.
• In addition, this position will be responsible for remotely supporting a Schneider Electric contract manufacturing operation in Houston, TX.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities including account reconciliations, G/L analysis and journal preparation; validating entries and accruals made by our platformed accounting group.
• Ensure Balance Sheet Accuracy through account reconciliations, physical inventory support and internal controls compliance
• Build collaborative forecast on main KPIs such as Productivity, CAPEX, Base Cost and P&L Analysis of Change
• Tracking & measurement of financial results to expectations, within weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Prepare closing commentary for ETO Cluster to support month-end reporting deliverables
• Work with finance peers in a strong team atmosphere, collaborating, influencing, and improving items outside of typical finance ownership
• Drive interaction and collaboration with the Front Office to improve plant's performance & margin (i.e. - ETO Costing, Middle Office Strategy, Project Profitability, etc.)
• Leverage data and other information to support Management team for business analysis and decision making
• Leverage digital tools & skills for financial & operational reporting to drive efficiency and simplification
• Identify opportunities to develop and implement continuous improvement processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the plant
• Support and / or Lead ETO portfolio transformational projects

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
• At least 5+ years of experience in a Finance, Accounting role or related field
• Proficient in Excel and data management tools, especially Tableau and SQL (VBA, etc.)
• Fluency in English

Preferences

• At least 5-10 years of experience as a role in Finance, particularly in manufacturing facilities, doing forecasting, budgeting, accounting, capex, inventory, P&L, etc.
• Fluency in Spanish
