• Location: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, Conroe, TX 77304
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel nursing contract)
• Start Date: July 7, 2025
• End Date: October 6, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7A-7P)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1350-$1380
• Unit Details: 24-bed inpatient rehab unit, nurse-to-patient ratio 1:6, modern rehabilitation equipment (Sara steady, hoyer lift, sit-to-stand, hover mat, gait belts, bladder scanner, slide board, wheelchairs)
• EMR System: Meditech
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience preferred
• Flexible, positive attitude and strong clinical skills
• Willingness to float to acute care units as needed

Rehabilitation RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, CNAs, unit secretaries, and charge nurses
• Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment to assist patients with mobility and recovery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech EMR
• Support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals through evidence-based nursing practices
• Adhere to unit policies, safety guidelines, and best practices
• Float to acute care units as needed to provide clinical support
