POSITION: Panel Technician II

Founded in 2014, DWS Energy is a rapidly expanding, multi-disciplinary electrical construction company focused on electrical pre-fabrication services in our UL-508A certified panel shop, commercial industrial controls wiring, and utility-scale solar and battery storage (new construction and operations & maintenance). The organization has expanded its service offerings throughout its tenure and continues to grow at an accelerated rate.

OVERVIEW:

As a Panel Technician II, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of electrical equipment and devices.

DUTIES: The duties and responsibilities of the Panel Technician II may include but are not limited to:

• Install and modify electrical machinery, equipment, and circuitry in industrial or commercial applications/products
• Able to direct a level 1 on basic tasks of the project
• Complete understanding of Drawing for installation
• Ensure all electrical components installations adhere to standards.
• Preparation of subpanels and enclosures for assembly of electrical components.
• Installation of wiring of PLC Component layout according to drawings.
• Complete knowledge of all components used for installation

QUALIFICATIONS: The following are required skills and qualifications:

• Previous experience installing electrical components
• Familiarity with electrical schematics.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to self-direct work and assist less experienced techs/helpers
• Ability to take direction from supervisors and work with other team members toward a common production goal
• Ability to meet Deadlines and be detailed-oriented.

REQUIREMENTS: The following are physical requirements:

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel, objects, tools, or controls, stand for long periods of time.
• Bend or twist their body, repeat the same movements, kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl, walk or run for long periods of time.
