DESCRIPTION

Decypher is looking for a Physician to support JBSA Lackland, TX.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree/Education : Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) Medicine
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in Urgent Care OR Emergency Room care OR Flight Medicine OR an equivalent training/capacity of those already stated.
• Board Certification : Board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Aerospace, Occupational or Preventative Medicine.
• Licensure/Registration : Maintain licensure to practice medicine in any of the United States
• Certification : BLS
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide medical supervision to paramedics IAW the State of Texas and Paramedic National Registry.
• Conduct peer reviews and document encounter in the electronic medical record accordingly. Precept and co-sign notes by non-privileged providers as required by the Government Medical Director.
• Supports flight medicine standards for medical clearances. Conduct human performance SWTW/HPSG-Medical Support Services
• Work a non-standard schedule, extended hours, and/or rotating shifts which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, but not to exceed 40 hours per week.
  • The contractor shall be flexible and may need to deviate from the typical work week schedule.
