Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX(Hybrid). This role requires a highly skilled Genesys Engage/CX Developer with deep expertise in Genesys CTI Framework and multi‑site contact center environments .

Rate Range: $56/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Develop, deploy, and support Genesys Inbound/Outbound and IVR solutions using platforms such as URS, ORS, GVP, SIP Server, OCS, GMS, and VXML.

• Design and implement end‑to‑end call flow architecture, including physical and logical designs for multi‑channel contact center environments.

• Create and optimize complex routing strategies through IRD for voice and digital channels, ensuring efficient customer interaction handling.

• Manage failover scenarios by building alternate call flows to maintain continuity and prevent any loss of interaction data during system outages.

• Support multi‑site Genesys environments by troubleshooting issues, performing deployments across DEV/UAT/Production, and executing upgrades or enhancements.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver new projects, integrate third‑party IVR systems, and ensure stable, high‑availability Genesys operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field.

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Genesys Engage, CX development, and contact center technologies.

• Strong expertise in Genesys CTI Framework with proven experience developing and deploying Inbound/Outbound, IVR, and multi‑site Genesys solutions.

• Advanced proficiency across Genesys platforms (URS, ORS, GVP, SIP Server, OCS, GMS, VXML, Nuance) with the ability to design complex routing strategies and handle failover scenarios without loss of interaction data.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
