Snelling Staffing Services – San Antonio is seeking skilled and compassionate Pediatric Home Health Nurses (LVN)to provide high-quality, personalized care for children in the comfort of their homes.

PEDIATRIC HOME HEALTH NURSE DUTIES:

• Patient Care : Provide one-on-one nursing care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing medical equipment.
• Care Planning : Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each child’s needs.
• Infusion Therapy & Wound Care: Administer IV therapies, perform dressing changes, and monitor the healing process.
• Family Support : Educate and support families on patient care techniques, promoting a safe and nurturing environment for the child.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care, progress, and any changes in condition.
• Compliance : Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance standards to ensure the highest level of care.

PEDIATRIC HOME HEALTH NURSE REQUIREMENTS:

• Submit to a drug screen & criminal background check
• Licensure: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas.
• Experience: At least one year of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in a home health setting.
• Certifications: CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Health Requirement: Must provide recent TB test results.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Attributes: Compassionate, patient-focused, and adaptable to varying family dynamics.
