Level II Accountants
Kforce is searching for talented, detail-oriented and experienced Level II Accountants to support our client in the San Antonio, TX area. This is a contract engagement which provides competitive compensation and benefits. The Accountant II will be responsible for:
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Reconciling general ledger
- Preparing financial statements and conducting variance analyses in accordance with GAAP
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in financial institutions or CUSOs
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros a plus)
- Experience with accounting software
