Director of Retail Operations

Coast to Coast Distribution is growing—and we’re looking for a driven, blue-collar executive to lead our Cash & Carry operations in Austin and our soon-to-launch Georgetown location.
As Director of Retail Operations , you'll oversee the daily performance, team development, and strategic execution of our retail locations. You’ll lead from the ground up—building efficient systems, developing strong teams, and setting a high bar for operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

• Drive retail performance through thoughtful planning and long-term strategy.

Operational Leadership

• Oversee daily operations across multiple retail sites to ensure smooth execution and strong customer service.

People Management

• Lead, coach, and support store managers and staff; build a strong, performance-driven team culture.

Performance Tracking

• Review and act on KPIs, sales reports, and trends to continuously improve performance.

Inventory Oversight

• Manage inventory flow and implement loss prevention strategies to protect revenue and streamline operations.

Budget Management

• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

Compliance & Safety

• Maintain compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety standards.

Stakeholder Relationships

• Strengthen vendor and supplier partnerships while keeping operations aligned with broader business goals.

Innovation & Growth

• Identify ways to improve customer experience and implement tools or processes that drive operational growth.

What We’re Looking For

• 7–10 years of retail management experience , including multi-unit or high-volume site leadership
• Strong background in team development, process improvement, and customer-focused operations
• Clear communication, strategic thinking, and a willingness to lead from the floor when needed
• Prior roles may include: Regional Manager , Operations Manager , Store Director , or Area Manager
