Sheet Metal Quality Control Supervisor
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Quality Control Supervisor to join our team in Houston, TX, 77041. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our sheet metal products meet the highest quality standards. If you have a passion for quality control and possess strong skills in blueprint reading, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the quality control process for sheet metal fabrication.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality control inspectors, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality control.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in quality control are a plus.
