• Assignment Type: Locum tenens MRI Technologist (Travel Contract)

• End Date: March 3, 2026
• Contract Duration: Up to 26 weeks
• Shift: Day shifts: Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 9am-9pm, Sunday 9am-9pm (3x12-hour shifts)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2090–$2140
• Additional Coverage: Rotational call and holiday coverage as scheduled

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Prior travel MRI tech experience highly preferred
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• If only ARRT (R) certified, must hold a valid Texas radiology license
• BLS certification required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Ability to provide MRI services to diverse patient populations: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Previous charge technologist experience preferred
• Must complete compliance requirements and labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Local candidates within 110 miles of San Angelo, TX are not eligible

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in a hospital environment, prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Operate advanced MRI equipment and maintain accurate patient records
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver excellent clinical support
• Participate in rotational call and holiday coverage as required
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Deliver MRI imaging services to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics
