Computer Hardware Technician - Warehouse Support
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Computer Hardware Technician to join our team in Plano, TX. This role combines hands-on computer diagnostics and repair (about 50–60%) with warehouse operations (about 40–50%) . You will troubleshoot and repair PCs and related equipment, replace components, and track assets, while also assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in computer hardware—whether from professional experience or building/repairing PCs as a hobby—along with the ability to manage typical warehouse responsibilities. This position will have responsibilities that include working with government contractors; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required. This is an on-site position. Work hours are M-F, 8:00a - 5:00p with overtime available.

Key Responsibilities (Computer/Technical – 50–60%):
- Perform diagnostics and repair of desktop and laptop computers
- Replace and upgrade components (hard drives, memory, power supplies, etc.)
- Identify and verify PC hardware and peripherals (monitors, docking stations, drives, etc.)
- Log, track, and update asset details in internal systems
- Assist in preparing and testing equipment for deployment
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming equipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Stock, label, and organize inventory in designated storage areas
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets and use barcode scanners for asset tracking
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- U.S. citizenship required (government contract work)
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware, either professionally or through hobbyist experience (building or repairing PCs, gaming systems, etc.)
- Ability to accurately identify PC components and peripherals
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Proficient in Excel for tracking and reporting
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- This position will have responsibilities that include working with government contractors; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.
