Customer Service Representative

SGA Youth & Family Services is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team and support our mission of empowering youth and families. Key Objectives

• Deliver timely, courteous, and accurate assistance to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  
• Serve as a reliable resource for information about SGA Youth & Family Services’ programs and services.
  
• Maintain clear and organized communication channels to support smooth operations and client satisfaction.
  

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing clear and helpful information.
  
• Assist clients in navigating available programs and services, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
  
• Document interactions and maintain accurate records in the organization’s database.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
  
• Support outreach efforts by providing information and resources to community members and partners.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and insights from client interactions.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in customer service, preferably within nonprofit or social services settings.
  
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an empathetic and patient approach.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
