Customer Service Representative
This is a remote position.
SGA Youth & Family Services is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team and support our mission of empowering youth and families. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to our community, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to compassion, respect, and support.
As a key point of contact, you will play an essential role in fostering positive relationships and helping individuals access the resources they need. If you are passionate about making a difference and thrive in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you.
Key Objectives
- Deliver timely, courteous, and accurate assistance to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Serve as a reliable resource for information about SGA Youth & Family Services’ programs and services.
- Maintain clear and organized communication channels to support smooth operations and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing clear and helpful information.
- Assist clients in navigating available programs and services, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
- Document interactions and maintain accurate records in the organization’s database.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Support outreach efforts by providing information and resources to community members and partners.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and insights from client interactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in customer service, preferably within nonprofit or social services settings.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an empathetic and patient approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
