INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Contract Assignment | $21/Hour

Onsite | Fort Worth, TX (DFW Airport Area)

Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Imprimis Group is seeking an experienced International Logistics Coordinator for a project-based opportunity supporting high-volume global shipping operations. This position is ideal for someone who understands international transportation, customs documentation, HTS classifications, and the day-to-day coordination required to keep global shipments moving efficiently.

This is a fully onsite role supporting international logistics activities in a fast-paced distribution environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Coordinate and monitor international shipments from origin to destination.
• Prepare, review, and maintain import/export documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
• Assist with HTS classifications and harmonized tariff processes
• Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or customs issues.
• Maintain shipment records, reporting, and supporting documentation.
• Partner with operations teams to ensure accurate and timely shipment execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and efficiencies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 3+ years of international logistics, import/export, or supply chain experience.
• Experience working with international shipping documentation and customs compliance.
• Knowledge of HTS classifications and global trade processes.
• Experience coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.

HIGHLY PREFERRED:

• Experience within freight forwarding, 3PL, manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment environments.
• Knowledge of EDI processes
• Experience with logistics software and transportation management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
