Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local company in the Corsicana, TX area to add a skilled maintenance professional who keeps production moving and facilities safe.

A day in the life

You start your shift walking the floor, listening for unusual sounds and checking logs. A press needs a scheduled service, a loader reports a hydraulic leak, and a facility fan is tripping a breaker. You prioritize, then move: perform planned maintenance, track down electrical issues, replace a faulty pneumatic valve, and log each action so the operation stays compliant and efficient.

Core responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, heavy equipment, tools, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel systems to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose equipment and facility issues and implement timely, effective solutions.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Assist with equipment and facility installations, repairs, and modifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work performed and parts used.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Proven experience in maintenance mechanic, maintenance technician, production maintenance, and heavy equipment mechanic roles.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and building systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
