Salary: $32.00-$36.00/hour Travel to assigned communities as needed Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Travel to The Aspenwood Company communities as needed
  • Complete all assigned maintenance work orders
  • Serve as subject matter expert in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Complete make-ready process for vacant resident rooms
  • Coordinate special projects as directed by the Supervisor
  • Monitor work performed by outside contractors
  • Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled
  • Carry pager/cell phone for on-call maintenance
  • Monitor and maintain assigned building systems
  • Perform grounds work including trash pickup, sweeping, and landscaping maintenance
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation)
  • Check functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarms)
  • Collaborate with staff and professionals during renovations
  • Report safety or maintenance issues to Director of Plant Operations, Manager on Duty, or Executive Director
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Provide guidance to Maintenance Technician I, if applicable
  • Participate in community emergency response team
  • Maintain professional appearance and hygiene
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2–3 years of related experience
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Experience using hand and electric tools
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina and dexterity
