STARTING PAY OF $33.00 PER HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE!

Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for numbers? Fairway Corporation is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist (also known as AP Clerk or Accounting Assistant ) to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll process invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate and timely vendor payments. Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable transactions .
• Review, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
• Prepare and issue vendor payments and maintain accurate AP files.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments.
• Support the month-end closing process and assist with reporting.

Requirements

• Prior experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist, AP Clerk, or Accounting Assistant preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience a plus).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required (associate degree in accounting or finance preferred).
