Principal Solution Architect - Oracle Cloud ERP (Public Sector)

As a Principal Solution Architect , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the solution vision and architectural integrity of Oracle Cloud ERP programs within the Public Sector practice. You’ll lead design authority, ensure solution consistency across projects, and guide teams in delivering scalable, compliant, and high-performing financial solutions.

This role demands deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials —particularly in fund accounting , encumbrance accounting , and budgetary control —combined with a strong understanding of public sector fiscal operations and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead solution architect for Oracle Cloud ERP implementations, ensuring designs are robust, compliant, and aligned with client objectives.
• Define and govern architectural standards, design principles, and reusable assets across the Public Sector ERP portfolio.

• Provide authoritative subject matter expertise in fund accounting , encumbrance accounting , and budgetary control to guide solution decisions.

• Architect integrated solutions across core financial modules including GL, AP, AR, PO, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management .

• Partner with client executives and functional leads to define transformation roadmaps and solution strategies that align with public sector financial governance.

• Review and validate project designs, ensuring alignment with best practices and Oracle Cloud standards.

• Mentor solution architects and consultants, fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous learning within the practice.

• Stay abreast of Oracle Cloud ERP roadmap updates and emerging public sector regulations to guide solution evolution proactively.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Oracle Financials experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Proven leadership in delivering complex, multi-module ERP solutions in the public sector.
• Strong expertise in encumbrance accounting, fund accounting, and compliance-oriented design.
• Hands-on experience with all major Oracle ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO, Budgetary Control).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing client relationships at the executive level.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal development skills.

Preferred

• Oracle Cloud Financials Certification(s).
• Background in consulting or advisory roles for government financial systems.
• Experience with Grants Management, Procurement Contracts, or Public Sector Planning & Budgeting.
