Job Title: Engineering (Inventory) Technician
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining clean work areas, managing equipment and inventory, and supporting various plant operations including construction, installation, and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean work areas and maintain parts, equipment, and inventories
- Construct plastic containment systems using Unistrut
- Maintain equipment and vehicles
- Install and remove insulation
- Deliver packages as needed
- Assist with welding, cutting, wiring, and installation
- Support drawing-related activities
- Create and manage chemical equipment inventory
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving experience preferred
- Computer experience with Excel and Word
- Experience with demonstration scale operation preferred
- Experience working with chemicals preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience required
- Ability to work shift schedules, including 24/7 operations
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Shift work may vary and may include 24/7 schedules
- Must be able to work different shifts
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Work performed in plant, lab, or high-bay environments
- Requires standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders
- Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Worksites located across a 1,500-acre property; walking between sites required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistance
Additional Requirements
- Must wear steel toe shoes
- Hard hat required
- Must submit to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- Position is considered safety-sensitive
- Dress code: collared shirt and jeans
