Warehouse Associate
At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), Warehouse Associates keep operations running smoothly receiving, organizing, and safely loading materials with precision and pride. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Product Knowledge Provide service to customers entering the warehouse Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size Warehouse Operations & Maintenance Perform minor building maintenance when necessary Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials Allocate and move material to its correct place and always ensure an orderly warehouse Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories Physical Requirements: Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation Occasional operation of forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs. utilizing proper lifting procedures Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned Qualifications: Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training
