Recruiting & Onboarding Administrator - Lubbock ISD

Job Description

The Recruiting and Onboarding Administrator is responsible for assisting management with administrative tasks including, but not limited to, creating job descriptions, posting jobs, assessing applicants skills, conducting interviews, extending offers, managing the background trace process, coordinating and facilitaing new hire orientation, and developing training plans to ensure successful onboarding. The Recruiting and Onboarding Administrator will also participate in jobs fairs and faciltate classroom presentations to help build organizational relationships, pipeline talent, and market positions. The Recruiting and Onboarding Administrator will be required to work well with customers, visitors, and employees in a professional and cheerful manner. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs

Job Responsibilities

• Lead all hourly staffing and recruitment efforts to ensure all sites are staffed appropriately. Plan and execute jobs fairs, update job boards and the career website as needed
• Collaborate with operations daily to understand staffing, training, engagement needs and identify value added solutions
• Assists management with administrative tasks in relation to Human Resources, Safety, Payroll and Training functions including filing, data entry, record review and maintenance, etc.
• Assist with policy & program administration as well as engagement efforts as needed.
• Mentor new hires and support their integration into the team
• Conduct exit interviews and collaborate with operations to develop solutions to reduce employee turnover
• Utilize marketing methods to enhance branding and attract candidates
• Greets customers, clients, and employees; answers inquiries or directs calls where necessary
• Maintain office memos and informative postings

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate will have the following:

• One year of exprience in a fast paced, high volume-driven environment, preferably staffing and/or food service.
• Experience working in Payroll and/or Human Resources with the ability to pay close attention to detail is preferred.
• Bilingual Communication and writing skills are preferred (English/Spanish)
• Solid understanding of computers and Microsoft applications, including but not limited to: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
• A passion for engaging candidates and employees at all levels and the ability to positively influence others
• Willingness to offer hands on support in the field as needed.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Requires frequent performance of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms

Education

High School Diploma

Associates preferred
