Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and other entities in compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Research tax issues, regulations, and legislative developments to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to gather information and resolve tax-related questions.
• Identify proactive tax planning opportunities to help clients minimize tax liabilities and achieve financial goals.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and trusted advisory services.
• Provide strategic guidance to business owners and leadership teams on tax and financial matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or EA designation preferred.
• 5+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting or a corporate tax environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with tax software such as ProSystem FX Tax, UltraTax, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
