What You'll Do: As a Production Engineer you'll be at the forefront of our innovation supporting our unit’s technology, equipment and process control. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.   What We're Looking For: Understands the unit’s technology, equipment and process control, providing subject matter expertise to the unit. Works with other technical roles and plant personnel to meet business and plant goals. Supports and follows the work process and standard work practices required by the site and unit. Ensures the required operating discipline, best practices and technology is implemented to optimize and improve unit performance and production. Improves unit operating discipline and plant operating procedures. Implemements MOC’s as necessary. Assists in troubleshooting and facilitates training of operating personnel in trouble shooting skills. Networks with reliability, maintenance and improvement engineers to resolve issues, identify improvement opportunities, and leverage technology and best practices into the unit. As requested, trains and communicates process technology and technical information to plant personnel. Leads and contributes as required in root cause investigations for unplanned events per site and unit guidelines and requirements. Leads and supports targeted process and productivity improvement teams. Understands and applies Statistical Process Control (SPC) technology. Understands and closes unit asset utilization operational performance gaps. Maintains a personal development plan with guidance from leadership to continuously learn and develop.
