Openwork is hiring a skilled HVAC Warehouse & Equipment Technician for a high-impact evening shift role in the Houston area. This position is designed for experienced professionals who bring both forklift and heavy inventory experience along with strong HVAC system knowledge.

This is not a train-from-scratch opportunity . While you will receive training on company-specific equipment, you must already have working knowledge of HVAC machines and systems.

Position Overview

As part of the PM shift team, you will operate forklifts, manage heavy HVAC inventory, and support equipment handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your expertise will directly contribute to operational efficiency and production timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a high-volume environment.
• Move and stage heavy HVAC units and bulk materials safely.
• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory management functions.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Utilize warehouse systems and RF scanners.
• Apply HVAC knowledge when handling equipment and components.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of forklift operation experience.
• 2+ years of heavy inventory management experience.
• Hands-on HVAC experience required.
• HVAC certification strongly preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC machines and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.

Compensation & Benefits:
