Marketing Brand Specialist
The Marketing Brand Specialist, Social Media is responsible for driving brand visibility, engagement, positive sentiment, and reputation through social media channels. The role requires a blend of creativity, communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to cultivate relationships with influencers and social media outlets. The ideal candidate will have a pulse on current trends, experience with leading social media campaigns, planning and execution, agency management, and reporting. They need to have a strong understanding of our business needs and opportunities to collaborate with internal and external partners to execute campaigns and programs that deliver on KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand top-of-mind awareness, engagement, and community growth across various platforms.
- Work with external agencies to create content calendars and plans that align with brand messaging and campaigns.
- Brief agency on campaign objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Social Media Content Creation and Management:
- Monitor trending content across all social media platforms and report on where we should be activating.
- Partner with Creative team and agency on the creation of high-quality, engaging social media content, including short form video, static images, and copy writing.
- Coordinate with creative teams to ensure content aligns with brand aesthetics.
- Social Media Audience Engagement:
- Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content and community participation
- Monitor social media channels, recommend opportunities to engage with our current and potential audiences.
- Partner with Guest Services on their reactive audience engagement.
- Influencer Strategy Development:
- Develop strategy to extend brand reach and increase brand relevance.
- Partner with agency team to identify, engage, and collaborate with key influencers on campaigns to drive business objectives.
- Collaborate with influencers to create content that authentically promotes the brand's products or services.
- Influencer Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and analyze the impact of influencer marketing campaigns, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, reach, and conversions.
- Use data insights to refine influencer strategies and optimize campaign effectiveness.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree required.
- 2-3 years of marketing experience with a focus in social media, communications, PR or integrated marketing agency experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept / comfortable drafting materials which would be shared with external partners. Experienced in managing resources, ensuring projects meet deadlines and are within necessary requirements.
