Maintenance Technician

Randstad is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a direct hire position with a leading aluminum extrusion manufacturer in the DFW area. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with solid benefits, growth potential, and a stable work environment.

In this role, you’ll perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on high-speed extrusion equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs, working with 480V 3-phase systems, hydraulic/pneumatic repairs, and performing preventive maintenance to keep production running efficiently.

salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year
shift: Third
work hours: 6 PM - 6 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair 480V 3-phase motors and electrical components.

• Diagnose and correct issues with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).

• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

• Execute mechanical repairs and component replacements including bearings, belts, chains, gears, and conveyors.

• Follow all safety protocols, including proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams.

• Document work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory usage.

• Collaborate with other departments to support continuous improvement initiatives.

The essential functions of this role include:
