Job Description
As a Maintenance Parts Specialist based in Stafford, TX, you will play a critical role in supporting the maintenance team by managing and distributing parts necessary for efficient operations. Working primarily during the day shift, you will ensure timely availability of parts, maintain accurate inventory records, and support inventory control processes to minimize downtime and optimize maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Receive, identify, and distribute maintenance parts to appropriate personnel
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to reorder parts as needed
- Organize and store parts in designated locations to ensure easy access
- Assist maintenance team with locating and sourcing necessary parts
- Track usage and report discrepancies or shortages
- Support the implementation of inventory management systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and organizational policies in parts handling
