Healthcare Office Administrator

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding service to patients and staff alike. This role involves managing various office functions, including revenue management, budgeting, and supervising team members to ensure a productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow, including billing.
- Manage phone systems and handle incoming calls professionally.
- Handle HR functions, including hiring, training, performance evaluations and staff development.
- Oversee insurance verifications, authorizations, billing processes and patient collections.
- Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance as needed.
- Address patient concerns and escalate issues appropriately
- Implement effective calendar management practices to optimize scheduling.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to foster positive relationships.
- Support financial management tasks, including payroll, budgeting and reporting.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies
- Assist physicians with insurance and hospital credentialing
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of insurance processes, coding, billing and EMR systems (ECW)
- Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Experience in team management and supervising staff is a plus.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and vendor relations is advantageous.
- Proficient in using office software and phone systems.
