Senior Public Safety Officer - Security

• Provide guidance and support for team development and performance Security Operations • Patrol property by vehicle and on foot to maintain a safe environment
• Manage door screenings, access control, and lock/unlock procedures
• Operate and monitor security technology systems and report issues Special Assignments & Customer Service • Handle morgue duty, package and animal deliveries, and parking/traffic control
• Assist motorists, provide escort services, and relieve dispatchers when needed
• Prepare accurate incident and departmental reports Emergency Response • Respond to calls and make sound decisions under pressure
• Ensure compliance with institutional safety protocols Requirements EDUCATION
• Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Associate's Degree WORK EXPERIENCE
• Required: Minimum 2 years as a Public Safety Officer or related experience LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
• Required: Valid Class A, B or C Texas driver's license
• Preferred: International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) certification OTHER REQUIREMENTS
