Quick Service Attendant - The Orangery
Summary: The Quick Service Attendance (Cashier) delivers fast, friendly, and seamless guest service. This position is responsible for handling transactions, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and restocking tasks as needed. A successful candidate is customer-service focused, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon entering.
- Accurately process purchases using a POS system, including cash, credit/debit, mobile payments, etc.
- Handle refunds, exchanges, and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain cash-handling accuracy and adhere to cash-out procedures at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Ensure the front counter, register area, and grab-and-go displays are clean, tidy, and fully stocked at all times.
- Wipe down surfaces, restock napkins, utensils, and grab-and-go items during and between rushes.
- Monitor food display for quality, expiration, and presentation, rotating items as needed.
- Restock refrigerated and ambient grab-and-go items as needed throughout the shift.
- Alert management to low stock levels or expired product, maintenance issues, etc.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries if required.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ensure an exceptional dining experience by following the Company's standard of service.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
Must-Haves:
- Prior experience in food service cashiering.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills and comfort using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and health regulations

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a high-demand and fast-paced work environment.
