Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Location: Austin, TX 78705 (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Rehab Hospital, Acute Hospital, Outpatient Therapy
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 8/11/2025 – End: 11/10/2025)
• Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Rotation: 1–2 weekend days per 4 weeks (as needed)
• Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1750 - $1790

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license/certification in Texas
• At least 1 year of experience in neuro, acute inpatient, or post-acute care settings
• Clinical experience with stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury (SCI), brain injury (BI), and amputee care
• Ability to transition between inpatient rehab, outpatient, and acute hospital environments
• Familiarity with post-acute care guidelines and CARE tool assessments preferred
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in neuro, acute inpatient, and post-acute rehabilitation programs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality therapy services
• Maintain schedules and meet productivity standards in a hospital setting
• Utilize CARE tool assessments and adhere to post-acute care guidelines
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a positive, collaborative healthcare environment
• Participate in weekend rotations as required
