Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a TX or compact RN license and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule
• Shifts rotate between 3x12-hour days one week and 4x12-hour days the next
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana testing; a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen upon arrival, including CBD products
