Facilities Maintenance Assistant Details:

• Temporary position
• $16.50 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift

• Assist maintenance technicians with the repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of production equipment and facility systems.
• Support machine setup, operational inspections, lubrication, parts replacement, and equipment adjustments.
• Perform housekeeping duties in maintenance and production areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Assist with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance activities.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other industrial equipment as authorized and trained.
• Identify equipment issues and communicate potential failures before they impact production.
• Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records as required.
• Support emergency repairs and production downtime recovery efforts.

Facilities Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:

• Maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing, or machine operation experience.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, rotating, or automated equipment.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• capable of working extended hours, overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as business demands require.
