The Human Resources team is responsible for evolving our culture of Care and guiding our Behaviors to Build: Empathy, Prioritizing Wellbeing, Practice Inclusion and Experiment. We are a business partner expected to collaborate with Operations so that we as a hotel achieve our business goals. This highly visible role is heavily involved in colleague relations at Grand Hyatt DFW conveniently located at Terminal D at the DFW Airport. The expectation is that the HR Administrative Support is connecting daily and engaging with colleagues through ongoing dialogue in their work areas to promote a positive and healthy work environment. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with limited direction and guidance while maintaining a high level of efficiency and effectiveness.

The Human Resources Administrative Support will assist with greeting all colleagues while maintaining the day-to-day administrative function of a highly active Human Resources office. This person will directly support the other human resources leaders including talent acquisition with data integrity, auditing, and reporting; hiring, E-Verify, background checks and candidate offers. Additional responsibilities will include payroll administration, colleague experience recognition/celebrations and event planning and execution, new hire onboarding preparation and facilitation, and internal colleague communication. Responding to colleague inquiries by phone, email, texts or walk-ins, and other special projects as needed. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a welcoming and engaging personality are a must. The HR Administrative Support will represent the HR team and Hyatt brand in a friendly and positive manner in all interactions. This individual will manage multiple competing priorities and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our team is open to discussing a flexible work schedule for this position. Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred - both verbal and written refined communication
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher)
- Familiar with payroll systems and HR information systems preferred
- Familiar with Canva and other computer applications
- Strong detail, organization and analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving and creative/critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of HR policies and laws. Familiarity with the latest HR trends preferred
- Interpersonal skills and genuine customer service orientation
- Must have a positive demeanor with energy, drive, and persistence to achieve goals
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Solid professional presentation skills- must have ability to deliver messages clearly and effectively
- History of building relationships, gaining credibility, influencing, and collaborating with others
