Position Overview:

The Commercial Roofing Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and leading roofing crews as a leader of the crew, on projects from start to finish. This includes supervising crew members, ensuring compliance with safety standards, maintaining high-quality workmanship, and communicating effectively with superintendents and project managers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial roofing, strong technical skills in roofing, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and supervise, in the field, a team of roofing installers and laborers on commercial roofing projects.

· Assist in project material inventory management throughout the project. Communicating to Superintendent and Project Managers when materials are needed.

· Interpret blueprints, specifications, work orders and project plans to ensure proper execution of work.

· Schedule and coordinate daily tasks and assignments for crew members.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, conducting safety meetings and training sessions as needed.

· Monitor project progress and quality, adjusting as necessary to meet project timelines and specifications.

· Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and solutions.

· Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

· Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, and materials used.

· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the roofing process.

· Train and mentor crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

· Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.

· Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with solid communication and interpersonal skills.

· Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the roofing industry.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
