Job Responsibilities

• Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

  • Set up and maintain the action station, ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are met.

  • Skillfully cook, carve, saute and serve high-quality food to guests, showcasing technique and artistry.

  • Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience, providing information about the meats and menu options.
  • Monitor food quality and freshness, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and availability of food items.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.

  • Assist in inventory management, including tracking usage.

  • Follow all sanitation and food safety protocols to ensure a safe dining environment.

  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
  • Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

• • Experience as a cook or in a related role required
  • Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
  • Must be able to acquire food safety certification
  • Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
  • Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong cooking & knife skills and knowledge of various meat cuts and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
