With facilities in East Texas and Central Florida, they are committed to delivering high quality, American-made venting products at competitive prices. They are now seeking a passionate Controller to join their growing team and contribute to their continued leadership in HVAC innovation.

THE POSITION

The finance team is seeking a Plant Controller. This would be a full-time, on-site role located in Jacksonville, TX reporting to our Director of Operations Finance.

What You Will Do:
The Plant Controller supports all aspects of finance and accounting in our Jacksonville, TX location as well as our distribution center in Dallas, TX. A successful candidate will assist the finance and operations teams in accurately tracking and reporting on financial data, allowing the business to accurately track performance against targets, working with operations to manage capital expenditures, and ultimately make data-driven decisions.

How You Will Do It:

• Perform month end close procedures
• Prepare Budget and periodic Forecasts
• Validate and approve Plant Capex
• Validate and approve continuous improvement saving initiatives
• Perform Cost Accounting functions
• Implement / improve Cost Accounting practices and coordinate system configurations
• Support corporate and plant management regarding reporting needs and activities
• Assist with margin analysis, distribution cost analysis, annual and cycle count inventories.
• Assist with periodic fixed assets physical inventories and coordinate new assets tagging procedures
• Monitor plant financial performance and reporting
• Assist with operations scorecard maintenance
• Perform ad hoc plant projects and analyses

THE CANDIDATE

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting + 10 years’ experience as Plant Controller
• Familiarity with major ERP functionality (SAP or Oracle preferred)
• Cost Accounting experience +5 years
• Hold current authorization for employment in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
