About This Role

Build a Principal-Led Practice with a Defined Path to Leadership

The North Dallas General Office is seeking select mid-to-senior-level professionals for our Accelerated Management Development Program .

This opportunity is specifically designed for:

  • Corporate leaders

  • Business owners

  • Military officers and veterans

  • Consultative sales professionals

  • Former collegiate or professional athletes

  • High-performing relationship-driven professionals

This is not a traditional entry-level sales role.

It is a structured, merit-based leadership track engineered to transition high-performing professionals into management and partner-level opportunities within 12–24 months , based on achievement of clearly defined performance milestones.

You will first build and master your own financial services practice using New York Life’s consultative client model before transitioning into recruiting, mentoring, and developing your own team of financial professionals.

What You’ll Do

Phase 1: Practice Development (Months 1–12+)

  • Build a sophisticated financial services practice focused on individuals, families, executives, and business owners

  • Provide consultative strategies in areas such as:

    • Wealth preservation

    • Retirement planning

    • Asset protection

    • Executive benefits

    • Estate and legacy strategies

  • Develop long-term client relationships through a needs-based planning approach

  • Leverage New York Life’s Advanced Planning Group for complex and high-net-worth cases

Phase 2: Leadership & Team Development (Months 12–24)

Upon achieving objective production and leadership benchmarks, transition into a management framework where you will:

  • Recruit and develop future financial professionals

  • Mentor and coach advisors within your organization

  • Build and lead a high-performance team culture

  • Participate in advanced leadership and management development programs

  • Create a scalable, legacy-driven business within the New York Life system

Consultative Relationship Management

  • Guide clients through complex financial decisions with professionalism and integrity

  • Develop deep, trust-based relationships with affluent individuals, families, and business owners

  • Deliver customized strategies backed by industry-leading tools and support

Culture & Leadership Engagement

  • Contribute to the collaborative, high-performance culture of the North Dallas office

  • Participate in leadership development, mentorship, and community initiatives

  • Continuously grow personally, professionally, and financially

Professional Background

Preferred backgrounds include:
