Safety & Compliance Manager

As the Safety & Compliance Manger, you will provide leadership and guidance to drive safety performance, compliance, and risk reduction across a specific region of Red Bull’s 200+ locations, 62 Profit Centers, and 2,000+ routes. You will oversee the implementation of safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a key leader in improving the safety culture within your assigned region all the while influencing the National strategies, tactics, and goals.

This role requires a balanced approach, combining strategic growth—aligning safety initiatives with long-term business objectives—and tactical execution—delivering measurable safety results through hands-on implementation of safety processes and programs. Additionally, you will focus on developing functional excellence, fueling sustainable growth, enabling the business to win, and translating strategy into clear, actionable plans that drive performance and create lasting impact. You will play to win by enabling high-performance teams, leading across the organization, and cultivating self-awareness as a leader to continuously improve and inspire others to do the same.

*This role will be primarily focused on the Central region and preffered that the candidate is based out of that zone*

    Act as the primary safety advisor to regional leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and updates on safety performance and risk mitigation.

    Partner with regional and corporate leadership to ensure safety initiatives contribute to the organization’s ability to win in the marketplace.

  • Support/Lead the implementation, training, and adoption of the LYTX safety video telematics system within the region.

    Oversee the maintenance of the LYTX platform, including user roles, alerts, vehicle assignments, and hardware functionality.

    Monitor regional LYTX data to identify trends, unsafe behaviors, and opportunities for improvement.

    Ensure accountability for LYTX usage and drive measurable improvements in safety outcomes through coaching and follow-up.

  • Analyze regional safety data, including LYTX insights, to identify trends, predict risks, and develop targeted interventions.

    Provide regular safety performance reports and dashboards to regional leadership and field teams.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventative measures based on data insights.

    Utilize predictive analytics to proactively address potential safety risks and improve regional performance.

  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for ASMSs, managers, and operational staff within the region.

    Ensure all new hires and managers complete onboarding safety training and annual refreshers.

    Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to regional leaders on safety best practices and compliance requirements.

    Create regional safety SOPs, guides, and materials to ensure consistent understanding and application of safety standards.

  • Oversee investigations of incidents and near misses within the region, ensuring accurate root-cause analyses and timely implementation of corrective actions.

    Collaborate with regional operations, fleet, legal, and compliance teams to address safety gaps and reduce risk exposure.

    Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational safety and reduce liability/insurance costs.

    Act as a liaison between regional teams and corporate safety leadership to share insights and align on initiatives.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in safety leadership, fleet safety, Talent/HR or logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-site role.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing “team” programs, including telematics platforms like LYTX, policy etc.
  • Background in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), warehouse/distribution, or fleet safety is a strong advantage.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align safety initiatives with long-term business goals.
  • Proven ability to execute tactical safety initiatives that deliver measurable results.
  • Expertise in translating strategy into actionable plans that drive performance and impact.
  • Experience enabling high-performance teams and fostering a winning mindset.
  • Proven experience implementing sustainable systems and practices to fuel long-term growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of safety regulations (DOT, OSHA, FMCSA) and compliance reporting.
  • Hybrid work arrangement (fieldwork, office, and remote setups).
  • Regular travel required to regional distribution centers, Profit Centers, and field locations for safety oversight and LYTX system support.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive safety-related information, including reviewing video footage and conducting root-cause analyses.
