About the Position
Job Title: Contract RN - Labor and Delivery/OB ED Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights and Days Hours per Shift: 12 (19:00-07:00) Experience: 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Candidates must possess EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation experience. Candidates should have 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Description: This position is for a Contract RN specializing in Labor and Delivery/OB ED. The contract duration is for 13 weeks. The shift schedule will include night and day rotations. The hours are from 19:00 to 07:00. There will be no call requirements. The unit has 32 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Staffing includes a charge nurse and co-charge nurse for both day and night shifts. The team accommodates a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio. Equipment utilized includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and US. Candidates who have experience in a Level IV unit or with internal monitor placement competency are preferred. Team players with a positive attitude are best suited for this role. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts are allowed. Candidates should adhere to attendance policies. This role offers exposure to new equipment and technology within the unit.
