- Shift Type: 24-hour shifts
- Gynecological Coverage: Yes, often
- Circumcisions Required: No
- First Assist Required: No Usually provided by midwives, residents, or group
- First Assist Available to Hospitalists: Yes FP residents
- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Hospitalists work closely with the CNM hospitalist team
- Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
- Backup Available to Hospitalists: Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)
- Board Certification Requirement: Must be BC
- Paid as a 1099 Independent Contractor
- Virtual scribe services when possible
- Online timekeeping and payroll/expense systems for easy tracking
- Travel and lodging provided groceries/Instacart gift card while on assignment
- Malpractice insurance covered
