Accountant
As the Accountant you will:
- Manage the financial aspects of contracts, including funding, contract values, budgets, and project costs.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for contract inquiries, funding details, estimates, quotations, and pricing.
- Create and maintain project charge codes and master data to ensure accurate cost collection and reporting.
- Review and reconcile labor, materials, subcontractor expenses, vendor invoices, purchase orders, and other project transactions.
- Partner with Project Managers to reconcile labor hours, monitor project billing, identify cost variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Generate project financial reports, including budget-to-actual, job cost, project status, and month-end reporting.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and accounting records while supporting month-end close and reconciliations.
- Provide professional customer service, maintain confidentiality, ensure regulatory compliance, identify process improvements, and perform other assigned duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of accounting experience
