Maintenance Technician (Hourly) – Pilgrim’s

Location: Mount Pleasant, Texas
Schedule: Must be able to work assigned days/shifts, including some weekends
Compensation: $20.25 - $33.00+/hr based on experience

At Pilgrim’s, Safety Is A Condition — the safety of our team members comes first, always. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the reliability, performance, and safety of our production equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
• Identify parts or machines needing repair or replacement
• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments accurately
• Interpret equipment drawings to properly adjust, maintain, or repair machinery
• Respond promptly to production requests when mechanical issues arise
• Communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose and resolve mechanical problems
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, managing both time and resources effectively

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Maintenance experience required

Basic Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
• General math skills required to perform job duties
• Ability to read and interpret documents, drawings, and schematics
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measurements
• Must be able to work assigned shifts, including some weekends
