Max Field Service Technician
- Work in South Texas primarily with possible rotational schedule in West Texas. Schedule will be a 14/14 or 10/4.
- Collaborate closely with customer field representatives to effectively execute NOV Frac operations.
- Facilitate onboarding of NOV Frac products across all basins in the US.
- Provide field technical support to customers for NOV Frac products.
- Assist with development and implementation of new product offerings, i.e., gathering information, field implementation strategies, etc.
- Initiate incident investigations, report up in a timely manner, and partake in devising a solution.
- When on location, observe the condition of all NOV equipment, and report any deficiencies accordingly.
- Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems.
- Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism and work with honesty and integrity, maintaining customer service.
- Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.
- Another duty, responsibility, or task assigned by manager.
- AA Degree and/or equivalent education with 5+ years' experience preferred.
- Wireline, Fishing, Coil or Completion Tools equivalent: 5+ years preferred.
- Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware.
- Strong technical background working with downhole tools utilized in pump down operations, including wireline setting tools, frac plugs, and perforating guns.
- Ability to work in all basin regions in the US.
- Available to work weekends and holidays as needed to support customer field operations.
- Pneumatic and hydraulic background preferred.
- Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
- Electrical background preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Initiative-taking and meticulous.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to lead and assist other techs and colleagues.
- Bi-lingual preferred but not required.
- Must pass a national background check and a motor vehicle report.
