Mechanical Design Engineer
Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing / 3D CAD Focus)
Location: Denton, TX
Salary: $85,000–$100,000
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong 3D CAD modeling skills to support the design and development of mechanical/electromechanical systems for commercial equipment. This role will work closely with manufacturing and act as an on-site subject matter expert.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- Create drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Support manufacturing, testing, and product improvements
- Analyze designs and ensure compliance with engineering standards
- Provide technical support for installations and field issues
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo)
- Experience with product design, sheet metal, or electromechanical systems
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
HVAC experience is a plus but not required.
