Position Summary...

The Asset Protection Area Manager is a safety leadership role responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for associates in a fulfillment center. The role involves coaching and training hourly associates, monitoring and analyzing safety metrics, and collaborating with operational leaders to conduct safety audits and identify training needs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and data-driven decision maker who can develop new and effective ways to improve safety and security within the fulfillment center.

Asset Protection Area Manager is an important safety leadership role within our fulfillment center to remove safety obstacles and eliminate risks to associate health and safety within the facility. Reporting to the Senior Asset Protection Manager, you will act as a strategic business partner with operational leadership to ensure our associates can fulfill our member promise in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities…

• Provide coaching and training to hourly AP associates by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback to achieve KPIs.
• Continuously monitor and analyze safety metrics while implementing appropriate countermeasures to mitigate foreseeable safety risks.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to conduct safety audits, participate in root cause identification process for accidents, and support accident reviews within the fulfillment center.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by ensuring associates are properly trained on company policies, standards and procedures.
• Participate in company initiatives and programs to mitigate security risks, prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas, and safeguard against shrinkage.
• Identify training and development needs while participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of hourly associates.
• Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to support ongoing safety initiatives, communicating goals and objectives, measuring progress, and opportunities for mitigating risk.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00-$98,000.00

‎

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management; Criminal Justice, Security, Industrial Hygiene; Environmental Science, or related field.
Option 2: 2 years' experience in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety or Asset Protections, Security, within Supply Chain, Retail.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
