Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in critical care settings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, observing for side effects and adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes.
• Implement emergency procedures as necessary and respond effectively in high-stress situations.
• Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and regulations, maintaining accurate and thorough records.
• Participate in continuous education and training programs to sharpen clinical skills and stay updated on advancements in critical care.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in a critical care nursing environment preferred.
• Experience in managing complex patient cases and utilizing advanced medical equipment.
