About The Position

OBGYN Locums Physician - Texas, Weekend-Only Shifts

OB Hospitalist coverage needed in El Paso; weekend-only 24-hour shifts with strong support.

Highlights

• Weekend-only schedule; stack shifts, then off
• Cross-credential at two campuses for more shift options

Practice Setting

• Inpatient OB Hospitalist model
• Level 3 and Level 4 NICUs onsite
• In-house anesthesia and MFM consults available
• Collaborative GYN ONC and private practice relationships

Schedule

• 24-hour weekend shifts; compact scheduling
• Only 10 shifts/month needed; choose your weekends
• Inpatient-focused with some outpatient duties

Cases and Procedures

• C-sections, vaginal deliveries, GYN first-assist
• No circumcisions or backup for midwives/FPs
• Estimated 15 deliveries/month per hospitalist

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Texas license and DEA
• ACLS certification required
