Project Lead

WC  has issued a request for a Project Lead to support their IT Project Management Office with project coordination and the planning and development of training activities. This role will likely be supporting projects related to Unemployment Insurance and Mainframe systems.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assist with coordination of tasks during project execution.
- Assist with test coordination, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Facilitate and take notes during meetings, communicating results, action items, and decisions to necessary recipients.
Minimum Candidate Characteristics:
- 4-7+ years of experience supporting project implementations, Project Managers, and training activities
- Experience planning meetings, organizing project logistics, and monitoring daily project progress
- Experience generating and delivering project reports
Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:
- Experience working on Unemployment Insurance Systems (TWC systems preferred)
- Experience with one or more Texas State Agencies
- PMP Certification
- Experience supporting Mainframe/Java projects
