Security Program Coordinator

A Security Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing security-related projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with security standards.
Their role includes:
- Project Planning & Execution: Defining project scope, objectives, and timelines while managing resources. Be able to develop weekly and monthly project status reports and when asked, brief the status of the projects
- Risk Management: Identifying security risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Manage the implementation and maintenance of security systems, including access controls, surveillance, and incident response
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborating with teams, vendors, and executives to align security goals. Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, security, compliance, and business units to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into overall project plans
- Compliance & Standards: Ensuring adherence to security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001. Ensuring adherence to CMS and HIPPA
- Technical Oversight: Managing cybersecurity tools, electronic security systems, and cloud security solutions
Educational qualification:
- Higher Education Minimum: Bachelor’s Project Management, Computer Science or Business Administration
- Certifications Minimum: PMP, SEC+
- Additional Weighted Certifications: CySA +, Pentest +, CISSP, CISM and any cloud certification.
The pay range for this position is $90,900.00 - $129,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
