Business Analyst
Job Title: Business Analyst
Location-Type: Onsite (Houston, TX or Nashville, TN – 5 days/week)

Duration: Permanent
Compensation Range: $130,000 – $160,000 annually
Job Description:
The Business Analyst will partner closely with product owners and stakeholders to analyze profitability, uncover insights, and translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Analyze revenue, cost, and profitability drivers to support product and business decisions

Build and maintain dashboards, monthly reporting, and ad hoc analyses

Lead core analytics across multiple products, serving as the primary analyst

Pull, validate, and interpret data using SQL to answer business questions

Translate analytical findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders
-
Partner with product owners, data analysts, and data scientists on reporting and predictive initiatives

Must-Haves:

Strong experience as a technical Business Analyst - at least 4 years
-
Solid understanding of profitability, revenue, cost, and break-even analysis
-
Ability to create and solve basic mathematical equations to guide analysis

Advanced SQL skills, including writing queries to pull and analyze data independently

Proven ability to articulate how data answers business problems

Excellent communication skills with non-technical audiences
-
Ownership mindset with the ability to drive insights and outcomes autonomously

Experience working with Databricks

Exposure to CRM analytics or real-time analytics environments
